Keifer at Four Months February 11th, 2007

A lot had changed since our last post. Keifer has started school - a nice daycare center conveniently located less than a mile from our house. Concurrently, NewMom has returned to work. Almost everyone at work said, “Wow, that was fast. It doesn’t seem like it could have been 12 weeks!” Clearly, these are people who were not up every three hours in the middle of the night, making the nights and days seem really long:)

But the long nights are fading into memory even for us, since Keifer has now been sleeping 10-11 hours at night for six weeks, bless him. He has started vocalizing (mostly “ah goo” and throaty coos) and grasping toys. He still doesn’t like tummy time very much, but he is slowly learning to hold his head up steady. He is generally a very smiley baby - we think he is going to burst out laughing any day now.
