Day One of the Great K4 Nursery Project! July 3rd, 2006

On Sunday, July 2, the project teams of Ariail & Ariail and Meade & Meade, came together to kick off a week-long event: the Great K4 Nursery Project. The objective: the complete build-out of the bedroom of the future Keith Edward Meade IV (affectionately known as K4). Plans include new curtains, a skirt for an end table, a new shower curtain and – most ambitiously – a mural featuring a pastoral scene and several happy little sheep (additional room accessories to be created as time permits). The Ariail team mascot – Abigail the sewing cat – and the Meade team mascot – Barkley the sleepy dog – were on hand to witness the proceedings and provide their expert advise.

By the end of Day One, great progress had been made. The curtain rods were hung over the windows with care…in hopes that some green curtains soon would be there. The end table skirt was complete and all material had been cut for the curtain projects. More reports will be filed throughout the week – check back soon!
