Barkley Completes First Training Session April 11th, 2006

We had the pleasure of having family in town this past weekend which allowed for a special training session for Barkley, our dog. Barkley was able to employ the services of professional soon-to-be 2 year-old Benjamin.Â
Benjamin played the role of toddler-at-the-dinner table. Barkley successfully completed the training session and experienced perhaps the only benefit of this fall’s arrival of beta schmoopie: food that rains from above.Â

Can you train Barkley to change diapers?
I hope so. If not I can always ask my big brother Lee to take care of that. Right?
The real question is can Keith change diapers?! Or will he just fling poo everywhere…
Boy this is going to be a big change for Barkley. It’s tough at the beginning because he the baby takes some of his attention. Just keep reminding him of the payoff when Schmoopie gets around a year old. A kind of symbiosis develops between child and dog. Child enjoys flinging food, dog enjoys eating it, parents go crazy…
